if you take pictures at different times of the day it changes the effect
of the photo.

HDR photography
1. What
does HDR stand for?
-High-Dynamic-Range
2. What
is the idea behind an HDR image?
-HDR images can represent more accurately the range of intensity levels found in real scenes, from direct sunlight to faint starlight, and is often captured by way of a plurality of differently exposed pictures of the same subject matter.
3. What
is exposure bracketing (you may have to click a link on the wikipedia to find
this)?
-where the camera is set to capture the same image several times with different exposure settings, both over-exposed and under-exposed (lighter and darker) compared to the current setting on the camera
4. Can you
do this with video?
